Smog Clean-Up Plan for DFW – State Implementation Plan (SIP) (http://www.dfwairplan.org/index.html)
This is information about the official TNRCC and EPA approved smog clean-up
plan for DFW. The site is maintained by the North Texas Council of
Governments. It includes the final plan, steps and meetings leading up to
the plan and new developments that help or hinder its progress.
Citizen Implementation Plan
This is an alternative smog clean-up plan submitted to the state by public
health and environmental groups, including Downwinders At Risk and the
Sierra Club. It offers a critique of the TNRCC plan, as well as
recommendations for additional steps to reduce ozone pollution.
